Want to move your work to a relevant folder after a contest is over?: Just ask an admin to copy it to the appropriate folder, move it to the appropriate folder, or manually remove it yourself and resubmit it. Current Contest: None. Deadline: General Guidelines and Tips: - No admin approval required, but non-contest entries will be removed from the group. Affiliates may enter without admin approval. If you're in Walfas Club, Walfas Academy, or any groups affiliated with us, you may enter! (Note: Banned members cannot participate.) - Three entries maximum, but only your best entry will earn awards. This is to help ensure people don't monopolize all of the awards. - If your entry is deemed 'too long' in your eyes, you can submit a second part and still have the initial submission to the contest count as one entry, but only two parts will be allowed and some categories will not be able for a second part. - Users will vote on a Google voting form or any pre-approved form and confirm their vote in the voting announcement thread later in the contest. Winners are based on general votes with no weight between admin/membership statuses; we all have 1 to our votes. - If you don't win, it's not the end of the world: there will be more contests and you can always improve. Also, the more you comment of other people's entries, the more likely they are to see your comic(s), so please leave comments on entries. - For comic oriented contests, there is no comic length limit. Four panels are considered the norm in terms of minimum panels. Kishotenketsu/4koma form runs like this: Frame 1 sets up the situation, Frame 2 elaborates on the situation, Frame 3 introduces a new element that changes the situation, and Frame 4 is the result. - Unless specified or contest relevant, single panel submissions are generally not allowed as comic-based contests are common; any and all submitted to contests will be removed or denied in the submission process with no access to the category list, but can be exhibition entries. - Your submission will be held to the standards in The WSW Rules/Submission Guide 2015 Edition, if your entry doesn't meet the general standards of quality, it may not get into the contest. - Please be sure to have an accessible Walfas Avatar DNA or Custom Walfas somewhere so if you win an award you can get featured! Contest-Specific Rules: Winning Categories: Looking for an additional challenge? Enter your comic into the Advanced Tier. The Advanced Tier is reserved for those who have won landslide victories in the previous Contests. If there are more than three entries in the Advanced Tier, we'll run an additional Advanced Tier contest bracket, otherwise no tier will be created. You may also enter "Exhibition Entries", which are ineligible to win the contest, but hold a spot in the folder here if they of decent quality, they are automatically copied into the relevant folder upon the completion of the contest. Just mark your comic as an "Exhibition Entry" in the description where you would normally put the nominable categories. This is for those who just want to pitch in on the idea behind the contest but do not wish to be in the contest results (WARNING: Once it's labeled as an Exhibition Entry, it is no longer eligible to win. You cannot change your mind once it's marked as an Exhibition Entry, so only label it if you truly do not wish to participate or make an unfitting contest entry for fun.)
